About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive projects identifying new technologies and business models that extend Cisco’s technology leadership and customer relevance
- Lead decision-making, execution, and investments to develop strategic opportunities
- Formulate long-term strategic priorities and plans with Cisco business units and cross-functional leadership
- Analyze emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, competitive dynamics, and internal business performance
- Influence organic and inorganic growth strategies, including build, buy, partner, invest, and co-development opportunities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and other internal and external teams
- Develop expertise in Cisco’s business, markets, and competitors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing an MBA or related graduate-level business program
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm, corporate strategy function, technology company, or financial services field
- Proficiency in strategy development, project management, business analysis, problem solving, executive communication, consensus building, and people development
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to dissect complex and ambiguous issues and synthesize actionable strategies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Financial acumen, project management, and execution skills
- Adaptability, collaboration, integrity, and ability to foster trust and respect
