About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate complex customer business visions into scalable, secure designs and multi-year technology roadmaps across Plan, Design, and Implementation and Lifecycle Services
Act as a trusted technical advisor to CIO, CTO, CISO, and chief enterprise architect stakeholders
Articulate business return on investment and guide critical architectural decisions
Embed Cisco IQ telemetry from Day-0 kickoff
Drive resilience infrastructure services audits, LDoS sweeps, and software lifecycle reviews
Use agentic engineering tools to compress delivery cycles
Guide, review, and validate complex designs and configurations developed by Consulting Engineers and CX Centers delivery teams
Partner with Danish Account Executives, Systems Engineering leadership, and CX Delivery Managers to shape Statements of Work and expand customer engagements
Channel field insights, customer architecture trends, and feature gaps into Cisco Engineering Business Units and Product Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field plus 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience
Consistent track record acting as Lead Architect on multi-domain infrastructure transformation projects for large enterprise, public sector, or service provider clients
Multi-domain technical depth in at least two areas: Enterprise Networking & Campus, Data Center & Cloud, or Security & SASE
Business fluency in Danish and English, both written and verbal
In-depth design and implementation expertise in at least two core Cisco technology domains is preferred
Current or emeritus CCIE / CCDE certification, TOGAF, or equivalent industry-recognized enterprise architecture credentials is preferred
Hands-on experience with data-driven network operations and network programmability/automation, including Python, REST APIs, and Ansible/Terraform, is preferred
Demonstrated success navigating high-stakes customer environments, driving consensus among diverse stakeholder groups, and resolving complex technical critical issues is preferred
Experience designing automated validation pipelines (CI/CD) and applying AI-assisted workflows within network engineering is preferred
History of technical mentorship, publishing technical whitepapers, or presenting at industry conferences is preferred
