About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead large-scale, complex programs across the full project lifecycle
Define roadmaps, execute delivery plans, and monitor performance across synchronized workstreams
Manage budget execution, forecasting, financial health, revenue, and margin reporting
Ensure delivery data is accurately reflected in Cisco systems and complies with governance and contractual requirements
Advise high-value IT and CXO-level stakeholders
Build customer relationships and identify opportunities to expand Cisco’s footprint
Coordinate with SDMs, CXMs, Sales, and other internal Cisco teams
Source partner bids, review performance, and align SOWs and T&Cs with delivery and financial plans
Champion AI and automation tools to modernize delivery
Lead retrospectives, share knowledge, and mentor project teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years, or equivalent relevant professional experience
Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs within a global, technology-driven environment
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Demonstrable expertise in financial management, including forecasting, P&L, and budget execution
Demonstrable expertise in delivery governance in an enterprise context
Preferred: Additional advanced certifications in Program Management or Agile methodologies
Preferred: CPMAI (Cognitive Project Management for AI) certification
Preferred: Industry-recognized technical certifications such as CCST, CCNP, or cloud-specific credentials
Preferred: Experience in contract negotiation, SOW drafting, and managing complex vendor/partner relationships
Preferred: Experience using AI-driven analytics to improve project health, risk detection, and automated reporting
Preferred: Track record of mentorship, coaching, and influencing organizational norms in a large-scale services business
