About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise the VP/SVP sales Solutions Engineering leader on Americas Sales SE strategy
- Develop annual and long-range strategic sales SE plans and GTM playbooks
- Design and operationalize SE priorities and KPIs using a PMO approach
- Orchestrate end-to-end planning across GTM strategy, operations, readiness, recognition, and events
- Track tasks, owners, milestones, and deliverables through completion
- Own and govern the Americas SE sales/SP&O operating cadence
- Partner with revenue operations and execution teams on compensation, readiness, and other initiatives
- Identify, develop, and lead strategic sales SE initiatives across global markets
- Conduct market research, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, and data-driven analyses
- Identify growth levers across new, renewal, and expansion sales motions
- Lead and develop the Sales SE GTM Strategy Planning & Operations team
- Use AI tooling to accelerate ideation, planning, execution, and decision-making
- Present growth plans and priorities to senior executives and prepare the Americas Sales SE Head for Board, ELT, and SLT meetings
- Collaborate with sales, specialist, global SE, marketing, product development, and operations stakeholders
- Implement change-management practices to drive adoption of new strategies and processes
- Assess coverage investments, renewals, customer success, field roles, and sales organization structure and governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years' experience including management consulting, GTM strategy, strategy planning, or sales SE, including people leadership/management
- Proven management consulting or equivalent experience focused on strategy planning and transformation
- BS/BA degree preferred
- MBA preferred
- Demonstrated management experience leading strategy teams and developing teams
- Sales/GTM Strategy experience within the tech sector highly preferred
- Experience framing and structuring business problems, prioritizing effort, and conducting complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Experience building executive-level stories with recommendations
- Experience translating business priorities into measurable GTM programs, including offer creation, campaign creation, and enablement
- Strong AI tools, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive transformation in a complex, global organization
- Ability to execute programs spanning 6–12 months through completion
- Self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Curious and flexible approach to evolving responsibilities
