About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the multi-year global alliance strategy for significant cloud partners
- Serve as the primary architect for joint initiatives spanning multiple geographies and business units
- Drive complex initiatives by influencing senior leaders across Cisco’s product, engineering, and sales teams
- Align internal stakeholders around partnership objectives
- Incubate and manage high-stakes, cross-functional programs
- Ensure successful product integration and market adoption
- Act as a primary point of contact for Cisco and partner executives
- Navigate the coopetition landscape to secure long-term commitments and strategic alignment
- Provide actionable intelligence to Cisco leadership on partner strategy, competitive positioning, and emerging technology trends
- Shape Cisco’s executive-level decision-making
- Collaborate with product leaders, sales leaders, CTOs, systems architects, and marketing professionals to synchronize go-to-market and technical integration efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor strategy and/or partner management within global silicon for cloud or networking ecosystems
- Experience structuring and managing semiconductor partnerships, including ecosystem governance and cross-company technical alignment with chipset and systems vendors
- Technical experience with semiconductor architectures and silicon-to-systems integration
- Ability to translate chip-level technical tradeoffs into partnership and business strategy for cloud-native architectures, including hybrid/multi-cloud, containerization, SaaS, and cloud security requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning global stakeholders and senior executives without direct line authority
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Experience in management consulting preferred
- Experience working with U.S.-headquartered hyperscale cloud providers preferred
- Experience within a multinational technology enterprise preferred
- Experience utilizing data-driven decision-making frameworks with technical and business audiences preferred
