About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define product strategy, requirements, and roadmaps for next-generation AI-powered features
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to translate customer insights into actionable requirements
  • Develop strategic, data-backed roadmaps
  • Guide development teams in building products that drive growth
  • Participate in a 12-week summer internship within Cisco’s Product Organization
  • Collaborate on products, platforms, and architectures shaping Cisco’s future
  • Participate in targeted learning sessions, multifunctional networking, and direct engagement with organizational leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's) with 2 years of work experience, or a Master’s degree program with 0 years of work experience
  • Qualifying education and work experience in Business, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Expected to continue enrollment in the degree program after completing the internship
  • Working knowledge of at least two of networking concepts, analytical concepts, or product management concepts
  • Coursework or project experience in market research, competitive analysis, or strategic planning
  • Experience building a product roadmap through coursework, internship, or personal project
  • Preferred: experience with AI and machine learning models
  • Preferred: prior internship experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner capacity
  • Preferred: proficiency in Python, C++, R, or SQL
  • Preferred: familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
