About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead efforts to design and deliver improvements to Cisco's operational capabilities
  • Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to advance strategic goals
  • Apply Goal-to-Cash process knowledge to design experiences spanning planning, quota-setting, and seller payouts
  • Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into Product Requirements Documents and user stories
  • Ensure on-time delivery that meets expectations
  • Conduct data analytics and metric deep-dives to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Drive operationalization of next-generation business models
  • Shape execution to minimize user impact and accelerate Cisco's go-to-market for recurring-revenue models
  • Provide program and project leadership for operational readiness across SC3 functions
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and roadblocks
  • Partner with stakeholders to support planning, coverage, crediting, compensation, and reporting capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated leadership of multiple programs or medium-to-large functional teams, with measurable outcomes
  • 10+ years of professional experience in business or IT consulting, business operations, integration, or operations management
  • Proven expertise in at least two business capability domains, such as order management, compensation, sales performance management, distribution compensation, or reporting
  • Hands-on experience running operations with product management discipline, including process improvement, organizational change, and systems management
  • Experience managing project portfolios, including planning, reporting, and advising across concurrent projects
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, information technology, or a related field preferred
  • Deep expertise in seller territory coverage planning, complex crediting rules, and incentive compensation mechanics
  • Experience with enterprise compensation tools such as SAP Callidus, Anaplan, Xactly, Varicent, Salesforce Commissions, or custom-built ICM platforms
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for communicating product vision, roadmap strategy, and operational change
  • Ability to drive organization-wide change through innovative ideas and measurable impact
  • Experience exploring and applying AI practices and tools
  • Skilled at leading federated teams with direct, matrixed, and third-party reports
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade SaaS products or internal platforms
