About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the SVP’s calendar and daily schedule, including prioritizing conflicting meeting requests
  • Supervise executive action items and commitments and follow up on completion
  • Coordinate the SVP’s speaking engagements with the communications team
  • Plan and organize meetings, agendas, locations, technology, logistics, briefing documents, notes, and action items
  • Prepare travel packs for international trips
  • Support communications and approvals as an authorized proxy
  • Answer, filter, and resolve inquiries and follow up on disposition
  • Provide mentorship to administrative community members
  • Arrange global travel and manage Cisco expenses
  • Provide analytical support for special projects through research, analysis, data compilation, and report preparation
  • Handle critical and confidential matters and materials
  • Mentor new Executive Administrative Assistants and other administrators
  • Participate in and lead the cross-functional EA and administrative communities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years’ experience in an administrative environment
  • Minimum 2 years supporting at the VP level or above
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows desktop applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to connect with executive/senior staff and clients
  • High competency navigating web and email
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred
  • Past work experience in the high-tech industry preferred
