About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide complex administrative and strategic support to the Vice President of CX Product Management
  • Manage and prioritize the VP’s calendar, meetings, attendance, and calendar access
  • Coordinate the VP’s event speaking engagements with the communications team
  • Plan and organize meetings, including agendas, locations, meeting technology, logistics, briefing documents, notes, and action items
  • Prepare travel packs for international trips and large domestic events
  • Act as proxy for communications and approvals as authorized
  • Answer general questions, refer routine matters, and follow up on completion
  • Resolve issues within policies and guidelines and mentor administrative community members on problem solving
  • Make in-depth global travel arrangements and optimize itineraries
  • Manage Cisco expenses and coordinate airline benefits and upgrades
  • Provide analytical support for special projects by researching issues, analyzing problems, compiling data, and preparing reports
  • Prepare and brief itineraries and accompany the VP at large corporate events such as GSX
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years’ experience in an administrative environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting a principal at director level or above
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows desktop applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to connect with executive/senior staff and clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills, independent judgment, utmost integrity, and ability to balance strategic and tactical actions
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions
  • Associates degree preferred
  • High-tech industry experience desired; prior Cisco experience preferred
