About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and cross-check module configuration documents, spreadsheets, and system records
- Identify and resolve missing, conflicting, duplicated, or incorrectly formatted configuration information
- Process and track engineering change orders using internal websites, SharePoint, and process-automation tools
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers, engineers, and Sales Applications Engineering to obtain information and complete engineering changes on schedule
- Maintain configuration records and supporting technical documentation according to established processes and quality standards
- Support production ramps by prioritizing time-sensitive configuration updates
- Respond to manufacturing-related requests
- Assist with creation, review, and maintenance of product label templates and configuration-controlled content
- Provide first- and second-level support for configuration issues affecting the production environment
- Improve configuration-management workflows by identifying repetitive tasks, process gaps, and automation opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in configuration management, technical documentation, engineering operations, manufacturing support, or a related role
- Applied experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, and macros
- Experience reviewing technical documents and structured data for accuracy and consistency
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Experience supporting hardware or software configuration processes
- Preferred: Experience processing engineering change orders or working in a formal change-control environment
- Preferred: Experience supporting manufacturing operations, production ramps, or contract manufacturers
- Preferred: Familiarity with hardware or software testing
- Preferred: Software development proficiency in Python
- Preferred: Experience with source control systems such as Git
- Preferred: Experience with label-design software, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools
- Preferred: Working knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL queries
- Preferred: Experience providing first- or second-level support in a production environment
- Preferred: Experience with workflow automation, data-validation tools, or process-improvement initiatives
