About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a Federal Civilian and DoD/Intel BDR team
  • Drive qualified pipeline generation from inbound leads and outbound prospecting
  • Shadow representative calls and provide specific feedback on discovery and qualification
  • Partner with Marketing on event registration campaigns and digital events
  • Monitor weekly pipeline and activity metrics
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM data
  • Use performance insights to adjust team focus
  • Coordinate with account teams and specialist sellers for high-quality handoffs
  • Attract, hire, and retain talent
  • Build a team culture supporting growth and accountability
  • Report team performance to senior leadership
  • Recommend improvements to the BDR process
  • Achieve pipeline generation and lead-to-qualified-opportunity conversion goals
  • Support measurable representative development, including ramp time, skill progression, and retention

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of related experience
  • 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience
  • 1+ years of people management or team lead experience
  • Experience in the SaaS industry (preferred)
  • Experience running an entry-level sales team, such as BDR or SDR (preferred)
