  • Analyze industry dynamics, including AI’s impact on infrastructure and security, to create demand and service-led opportunities
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales lifecycle from funnel creation to deal closure, maintaining a healthy pipeline across a three-quarter horizon while delivering in-quarter results
  • Represent Services in segment and theater-level Quarterly Business Reviews, communicating strategy and forecasts and influencing executive leadership on resource allocation
  • Lead a specific Theater segment for Services Sales across cross-functional audiences
  • Review and refine forecasting data and business plans for senior leadership
  • Partner with Portfolio, Architecture, and Customer Experience leadership to meet collective objectives and advocate for customer requirements
  • Lead deal clinics for complex pursuits and coach the team on concessions, negotiations, and value propositions
  • Streamline internal processes, sponsor the team, ensure policy compliance, and manage escalations
  • Identify and nurture high-potential individuals and maintain a pipeline of critical skills and talent
  • Develop and implement succession plans for key account executive assignments and leadership roles
  • Hold team members accountable for performance, execution behaviors, and quarterly enablement; coach underperformers
  • Champion AI-enabled productivity tools to improve sales efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience in sales leadership or complex account management
  • Ability to translate high-level market trends (e.g., AI-based service delivery, CiscoIQ) into practical, long-term sales strategies for a diverse account base
  • Exceptional ability to engage at the executive level, reset customer expectations, and influence internal cross-functional stakeholders without relying on formal reporting structures
  • Strong grasp of financial metrics, including margin analysis and deal structures, and ability to link sales tactics to profitability and long-term Cisco strategy
  • Proven capacity to manage through change, prioritize effectively during high-pressure cycles, and maintain team focus on long-term objectives despite short-term market volatility
