About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities across government, education, and public sector accounts
- Conduct high-impact outbound prospecting
- Perform initial customer discovery and qualification
- Interact directly with prospective customers and certified partners
- Develop sales pipeline
- Orchestrate smooth handoffs to Field Account Executives
- Support low-to-moderate complexity sales cycles averaging 3–6 months
- Focus primarily on initial opportunities under $50K
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, completed within the past 3 years or expected within the next 12 months, with 0 years of professional work experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, completed within the past 3 years or expected within the next 12 months, with 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on CRM experience, particularly Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, list management, and forecasting
- Experience with sales acceleration and prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Outreach
