Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect across industries and verticals using insights, internal tools, and technology to uncover opportunities
  • Build qualified pipeline for Cisco’s newest Security products
  • Connect with prospects and generate excitement through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other methods
  • Collaborate with Inside Security Sellers and cross-functional teams
  • Drive impact and expand the assigned territory
  • Master Cisco’s Security product portfolio, including Duo and Identity Intelligence, XDR, AI Defense, and Hypershield
  • Position products based on customer value and outcomes
  • Develop trusted internal and external relationships
  • Become a subject matter expert and storyteller for new, incubated cybersecurity products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Meet one of the following, completed within the past 3 years or expected within the next 12 months: Master's degree with 0 years of work experience; Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience; educational or workforce development program (e.g., Associate’s, Apprenticeship, Boot camp, or Certification) with 3 years of work experience; or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of work experience
  • Qualifying education and work experience in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of outbound sales and/or lead-generation experience in a high-tech or SaaS company
  • Fluent in English
  • Cybersecurity prospecting experience preferred
  • Demonstrated cold-calling and outbound prospecting success preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC), HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets preferred
  • Ambitious, self-driven, entrepreneurial, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced, competitive environment preferred
