About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Expectation to continue enrollment following completion of the co-op work term
  • Foundational programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, or C/C++
  • Coursework or practical experience writing and debugging code
  • Familiarity with software quality assurance concepts and basic testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with Linux command-line environments and Git version control
  • Familiarity with CI/CD automation concepts, such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Hands-on experience or coursework with automated test frameworks such as pytest, unittest, or Selenium
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing/switching, or cloud security principles
  • Exposure to containerization basics such as Docker or AI/ML developer tools
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, curiosity to learn new technologies, and enthusiasm for team collaboration
