About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications
Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices integrating AI/LLM capabilities
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
Deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ensure operational stability through Pytest suites, code reviews, post-mortems, and on-call rotations
Partner with design, product management, and other cross-functional teams
Translate requirements into high-quality delivered features

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience
Experience in Python development
Experience with Docker for containerization
Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development environments such as GitHub, CoPilot, or Cursor
Experience in RESTful API design
Experience with relational data modeling
Preferred: experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers
Preferred: experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, or open-source models
Preferred: knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB
Preferred: knowledge of semantic search
Preferred: experience with Git, HashiCorp Vault, and S3/MinIO
Preferred: experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Cisco networking knowledge is a strong plus
