About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enable MCP Tools and AI Agents through applications using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Develop advanced AI Agents with comprehensive security and semantic protocols
- Deliver secure, scalable, high-performing AI-native solutions across complex enterprise ecosystems
- Implement agentic frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain
- Develop scalable AI-driven test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or UiPath
- Solve complex production issues through root cause analysis and implement fixes
- Participate in the full lifecycle from RAG architecture and conceptualization through production deployment and automation
- Collaborate across Cisco’s global Supply Chain Fast Fulfillment IT organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of related experience OR master's degree with 3 years of related experience
- Strong skills in Java, Python, or other mainstream programming languages
- Object-Oriented Programming principles and frameworks for scalable distributed systems
- Experience with microservices, RESTful services, API management, and Apache Kafka
- Experience with relational, in-memory, and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MongoDB, and Snowflake
- Knowledge of Agentic AI, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, LLM integration, and IDE tools such as Copilot and Cursor
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices and toolsets
- Ability to drive customer engagement and foster collaboration
- Ability to manage ambiguity with strong analytical thinking and an innovative approach
- Preferred: familiarity with Oracle Cloud, GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Preferred: test automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or UiPath
- Preferred: certifications in Java, databases, cloud, AWS, or AI/ML
- Supply Chain domain experience is a plus
