Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar languages
  • Analyze test results and identify issues, inconsistencies, or performance gaps
  • Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments
  • Set up and maintain testbeds and lab environments, including routers, switches, and access points
  • Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues
  • Apply AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Cursor to improve testing efficiency and automation
  • Validate Cisco wireless platforms and support high-quality product delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree with 0 years of work experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience
  • Degree and qualifying experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field
  • Qualifying education completed within the past 3 years or expected within the next 12 months
  • Strong programming fundamentals, preferably Python or a similar scripting language
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting system behavior
  • Interest in AI-enabled engineering practices and AI productivity tools
  • Preferred: exposure to routers, switches, and access points through coursework, labs, or internships
  • Preferred: familiarity with setting up small network environments
  • Preferred: basic understanding of Wi-Fi / 802.11
  • Preferred: CCNA certification or progress toward it
