About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with a Professional Solutions Engineer
- Shadow customer calls
- Assist with presentation development, workshops, and technical concept proof events
- Meet weekly with other SE interns and mentors
- Discuss internship learning
- Learn to present technical concepts to customers and discover their needs
- Collaborate with peers to develop a knowledge resource for subsequent intern cohorts
- Promote Cisco products and services to customers
- Become familiar with the Splunk product line through observatory sessions with professional Solutions Engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, a related technical field, or an established technical foundation
- Strong record of academic achievement
- Expected to continue enrollment in a degree or qualifying educational or workforce development program after the internship
- Available to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks
