About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administration, migration, and maintenance of Windows client and server systems, including setting up the relevant systems for customers
Independently troubleshooting and resolving IT issues
Recording, categorizing, and documenting user issues in the ticketing system
On-site and remote support for end users
Installing software products on end-user devices
Timely installation, commissioning, and maintenance of PCs and server systems
Installing, configuring, and maintaining networks, Internet access, and VPN connections within customer infrastructures
Requirements analysis, customer consulting, and technical support during proposal preparation
User support and participation in various IT projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for systems integration, IT systems technician, or a similar IT qualification; career changers with comparable knowledge are welcome
Professional experience as a systems administrator in a comparable role, ideally with direct customer contact
Knowledge of several of the following areas: Windows clients and servers, virtualization (Hyper-V), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, backup solutions, and networks
Ability to work independently, a structured approach, and a hands-on mentality
Open, authentic, and customer-focused demeanor
Enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration with users
Class B driver’s license
Excellent German language skills
