About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administration, migration, and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, servers, backups, virtualization, and networks
- Setup and configuration of appropriate IT systems for customers
- Independent resolution of IT issues
- Logging, categorizing, and documenting user issues in the ticketing system
- On-site and remote support for end users at the 2nd-level support tier
- Installation of software products on end-user devices
- On-time installation, commissioning, and maintenance of PCs and server systems
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of networks, Internet connections, and VPN connections within customer environments
- Requirements analysis, customer consulting, and technical support in preparing proposals
- End-user support and participation in various IT projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive IT expertise
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable IT qualification
- Career changers with equivalent knowledge are welcome
- Professional experience as a System Administrator in a comparable role, ideally with direct customer contact
- Knowledge in several of the following areas: Windows clients and servers, virtualization (Hyper-V), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, backup solutions, networks, and firewalls
- Strong knowledge in several of the following areas: Hyper-V, network and IT security, as well as Office applications and their configuration
- Ability to work independently, a structured approach, and a hands-on mentality
- Open, authentic, and customer-focused manner
- Enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration with end users
- Class B driver's license
- Very good command of German
