About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee structured portfolio and lifecycle management for all USCC AI projects, from value case definition through path-to-production and milestone closure
  • Manage the pipeline of use cases across business units
  • Run intake and prioritization using value, risk, and readiness criteria
  • Estimate value, cost savings, efficiency, incremental revenue, or risk reduction for each business case in alignment with Finance and Citi’s Central AI Department
  • Define portfolio structure and quarterly sequencing
  • Track resourcing
  • Prepare executive dashboards, value updates, and roadmap health reports
  • Define KPIs, ROI models, and value realization frameworks
  • Run monthly value reviews and publish dashboards
  • Partner with the USCC AI Lead on cross-functional alignment
  • Partner with Delivery teams to implement initiatives and own post-launch value tracking
  • Monitor emerging industry trends, AI developments, and potential disruptors relevant to USCC
  • Conduct targeted ad hoc analyses for senior management discussions, business reviews, and prioritization forums
  • Document findings and propose enhancements to AI portfolio processes, investment frameworks, and sequencing logic
  • Produce executive-ready analyses and briefings for executive and senior business leaders
  • Assess risk in portfolio decisions and ensure transparent escalation of control considerations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years relevant experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Previous project management experience, project planning & execution managed, focus on data integrity preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the business and financial acumen
  • Leadership and partnership on team and cross-functional initiatives, with focus on simplification in execution
  • Problem structuring and analytic capabilities
  • Experience developing business cases, ROI models, or financial analyses for strategic initiatives
  • Strong capability in interpreting operational, market, or customer trends to inform portfolio sequencing and prioritization
  • Ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across businesses
  • Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Problem structuring & causal thinking, sound business judgment, and demonstrated result orientation
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities; history of academic and professional excellence and achievement
  • Creative thinking; thinks outside the box and challenges conventional wisdom
  • Collaborative style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies
  • Leadership presence; commands respect and earns trust of senior leaders
