About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, deploy new products, and improve processes
  • Resolve high-impact problems and projects through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide applications programming expertise and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Build comprehensive knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Assess and manage risk, drive compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and report control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in application development or Systems Analysis
  • Extensive experience in Software Application Programming and Systems Analysis
  • Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and IBM MQ
  • Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and integration with distributed application systems
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Devin
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions adhering to enterprise architecture blueprints, coding standards, and technology governance frameworks
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one Applications Development domain
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
  • Strong knowledge leveraging AI tools to make development more efficient
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly and manage concurrent technical workstreams
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
