Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, meet goals, and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements
Resolve high-impact problems and projects through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide application programming expertise and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Build comprehensive knowledge of how architecture, infrastructure, and business areas integrate to accomplish goals
Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as necessary
Assess and manage risk, drive regulatory compliance, apply ethical judgment, and report control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of hands-on experience in application development or Systems Analysis
Extensive experience in Software Application Programming and Systems Analysis
Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and IBM MQ
Proficiency with MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and integration with distributed application systems
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Devin
Experience designing solutions aligned with enterprise architecture blueprints, coding standards, and technology governance frameworks
Subject Matter Expert in at least one Applications Development domain
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
Strong knowledge of AI tools for development efficiency
Ability to adjust priorities and manage concurrent technical workstreams
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
