About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements
  • Resolve high-impact problems and projects through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Build comprehensive knowledge of how business areas, architecture, and infrastructure integrate to accomplish goals
  • Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
  • Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in application development or Systems Analysis
  • Extensive experience in Software Application Programming and Systems Analysis
  • Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and IBM MQ
  • Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Devin
  • Experience designing solutions adhering to enterprise architecture blueprints, coding standards, and technology governance frameworks
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one domain of Applications Development
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
  • Strong knowledge leveraging AI tools for development efficiency
  • Ability to manage concurrent technical workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
