Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, meet goals, and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements
  • Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how business areas such as architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Assess risk in business decisions, drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, apply sound ethical judgment, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
  • Hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST APIs, multithreading, and backend using Java/J2EE technologies
  • Strong fundamentals of OOPS concepts, data structures, and algorithms
  • Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements
  • Strong experience with API and web services development using REST/SOAP protocols
  • Fundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms
  • Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
  • Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of standard and enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Good understanding of containers and Docker deployment
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, and Jasmine/Mocha
  • Preferred experience in high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery technologies and tools
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
