About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships with and overall delivery to US Branch Network leadership
  • Drive alignment across Real Estate Services functions to achieve Citi’s retail real estate goals and USBN objectives
  • Manage a territory consisting of 125+ retail bank branches
  • Oversee outsourced facilities personnel and monitor KPIs
  • Perform quarterly audit inspections, including field and desktop audits
  • Oversee outsourced facilities project management for infrastructure and interior improvement projects
  • Partner with Transactions Management and Design & Construction to sustain business continuity and deliver spaces
  • Support strategic portfolio deliverables with Northeast Asset Managers
  • Optimize portfolio expenses and capital expenditures
  • Serve as main point of contact to landlords and property managers regarding escalations and leasehold obligations
  • Review and approve non-recurring leasehold charges
  • Contribute to reporting, analyses, presentations, financial document preparation, and ad-hoc deliverables
  • Review and approve capital budgets
  • Conduct financial reviews of budgeted and actual expenses to identify outliers and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with RES policies, procedures, health and environmental standards, and local regulations
  • Manage and mitigate operational, financial, and reputation risk
  • Serve as key business liaison for real estate activities within the assigned region
  • Interact with retail branch leadership, distribution strategies, internal security, legal, and technology stakeholders
  • Perform regular site visits and travel as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-10 years relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise of building systems
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of real estate disciplines, including architecture, construction, space planning, and engineering
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Finance principles in order to manage the P&L of the assets
  • Knowledge of real estate law and related documents, including leases, contracts, and deeds, with ability to apply them to complex business situations
  • Assessment, planning and work organization skills
  • Must be open to quarterly travel to Illinois and Florida markets
