About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions, including AI assistant tools
  • Architect and develop end-to-end AI systems using Python and Java
  • Design and implement intelligent agentic systems with autonomous decision-making and self-optimizing processes
  • Develop, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs for production-ready systems
  • Implement prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions
  • Own AI model and service deployment pipelines using CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
  • Design data storage, retrieval, and management strategies using SQL and NoSQL technologies
  • Establish engineering best practices, architectural patterns, and tooling standards for full-stack AI development
  • Monitor advancements in AI/ML, Agentic AI, cloud, and DevOps technologies and drive adoption
  • Ensure adherence to ethical AI, data privacy, and compliance standards
  • Mentor junior engineers in Python, Java, cloud, and CI/CD practices
  • Collaborate with AI architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and AI/ML development
  • Minimum of 5 years specifically focused on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and full-stack AI solutions
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • Expert proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, including Pandas and NumPy
  • Strong proficiency in Java, including Spring Boot, microservices, enterprise integration patterns, and RESTful APIs
  • Extensive experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI principles, and AI assistant tools
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and fine-tuning methods including LoRA, QLoRA, Adapter/Prefix Tuning, and instruction tuning
  • Knowledge of model optimization techniques including compression and quantization; familiarity with DeepSpeed, vLLM, GPTQ, or similar
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering and building RAG systems
  • Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and distributed training
  • Strong NLP skills including NER, dependency parsing, text classification, and topic modeling
  • Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and major GenAI APIs
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, schema design, query optimization, and application integration
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, IaC, and configuration management
  • Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Understanding of AI compliance, guardrails, Responsible AI practices, and enterprise security standards
  • Demonstrated portfolio of successful enterprise projects using Python, Java, cloud services, and CI/CD/DevOps
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems and high-availability, high-performance architecture
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Proactive and analytical problem-solving ability
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
