About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, assess, and prioritize AI opportunities across the functional organization
Understand functional processes, pain points, and emerging AI capabilities to connect business needs with practical solutions
Partner with internal function heads to establish ideation sessions and working forums
Refine opportunities for evaluation, sponsorship, and execution
Identify common work patterns and leverage existing enterprise AI capabilities and solutions
Share successful use cases, best practices, and reusable approaches with peer AI Implementation Leads and enterprise teams
Drive adoption of proven AI solutions to accelerate value delivery, improve consistency, and reduce duplicated effort
Support implementation through central coordination teams across functional teams
Lead AI adoption through communications, demonstrations, workshops, office hours, and engagement activities
Establish forums encouraging idea sharing, collaboration, and innovation
Share success stories, lessons learned, and practical applications through central communication capabilities and the VOE program
Promote consistent application of AI policies, standards, and frameworks
Support Responsible AI practices, controls, standards, and data management requirements
Align AI initiatives with governance processes and risk management expectations
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, adoption, and value realization
Report to Citi’s Head of Procurement and Third-Party Management and engage with CEC leadership, senior process leaders, AI stakeholders, and technology partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in a related field
Extensive experience in business and functional management within a large-scale, global organization
Proven track record leading complex, technology-oriented transformation and/or business re-engineering projects from conception to completion
Demonstrated experience driving significant change and process transformation initiatives with measurable business impact
Broad and comprehensive knowledge of banking operations, processes, and associated regulatory landscape
Strong, practical understanding of applying AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to real-world business problems
Familiarity with modern AI/ML platforms, data architecture, and the lifecycle of developing and deploying intelligent systems
Expertise in process analysis, performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making
Ability to combine technology and re-engineering to create significant, measurable improvements
Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and compliance
Proven ability to define strategic vision and lead cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strategic, results-oriented mindset with strong accountability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound judgments
