About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
Implement backend solutions using Java technologies and integrate them with the front end
Monitor and control all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
Provide user and operational support for applications to business users
Analyze complex application development problems and issues
Evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation analysis
Consult with users, clients, and technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions
Install and assist customer exposure systems
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
Advise or coach new or lower-level analysts
Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8 years of relevant experience
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Web, and REST API
Knowledge of Java 17 and JavaScript
Experience with MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, JPA, Hibernate ORM, and PL/SQL
Experience with React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JSON, and XML
Knowledge of Linux, Maven, Gradle, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, MQ, Kafka, and AWS
Experience with Git/GitHub, Postman, SOAP UI, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and SQL Developer
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
