About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage fund accounting operations at a site or functional level, including people managers, and partner across departments and businesses to develop cost-effective solutions
Assess new business viability against existing business capabilities and make recommendations
Support employee career progression through career paths, management processes, training, and Professional Development Plans
Evaluate risk and controls, including operational impacts of legislative changes, and ensure compliance
Lead strategic planning with business units and prioritize business development requirements
Monitor P&L, expense management, budgets, and planning
Monitor and achieve department goals during daily operations
Serve as escalation point for complex issues and manage resolutions and new business requests
Direct and participate in department and industry initiatives
Support corporate governance and ethics
Assess risk in business decisions, safeguard Citi, clients, and assets, and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
Supervise others and create accountability for control standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of relevant experience
Experience within financial markets and fund accounting
Experience in financial services, client management, project management, strategic management, operational management, and resource and expense management
Experience with people management and working with multiple stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, financial services, and global financial markets
Ability to manage client relationships
Demonstrated talent assessment and ability to manage client relationships
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Chartered Accountant / CFA / MBA a plus
Master’s degree preferred
