About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the NAM Corporate Actions and Product Reference Data team within the Funds business
Provide services to platinum clients of the firm
Oversee end-to-end sourcing, validation, and accounting for corporate action events within Fund valuations
Provide expert guidance and support to clients electing on upcoming voluntary corporate action events
Collaborate with global, cross-functional partners on Operating and Technology Transformation Initiatives
Anticipate market and regulatory changes and develop long-term departmental plans
Implement a robust and proactive risk management approach
Ensure compliance and mitigate operational and financial risks
Deal directly with external clients and internal management at all organizational levels

Requirements

What you’ll need

10-15 years of experience within Banking, Finance, Funds Services, Middle Office Services, Securities Services, Custody or in a Market Data services organization
In depth knowledge of one of: Funds Services / Fund Accounting / Securities Services / Middle Office / Custodian / Security Reference Data Management / Product Data Management
Asset Servicing and/or Securities Reference Data is a major positive differentiator
Extensive practical experience contributing to and leading significant operations and technology improvement programs
Experience leading client onboarding initiatives
Proven experience working effectively within an international and multi-cultural business environment
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
Experience being a manager of managers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex corporate action scenarios
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic mindset with ability to translate vision into actionable plans
Proactive risk management and mitigation capabilities
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
