About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive end-to-end technology governance, architectural alignment, and delivery execution for Citi's Enterprise Fraud Prevention initiatives
- Lead technology planning, execution, and delivery governance across complex, mission-critical fraud technology programs
- Define, baseline, and track milestones, critical paths, and deliverable commitments across agile squads and distributed platforms
- Manage cross-program dependencies, technical bottlenecks, architectural conflicts, and resource constraints
- Establish Definition of Done, release readiness criteria, and operational cutover strategies for high-throughput financial transaction systems
- Guide architecture trade-off evaluations across business priorities, customer experience, platform strategy, performance, and maintainability
- Facilitate architecture reviews, interface design agreements, and cross-team integration contracts
- Apply technical knowledge across microservices, distributed APIs, hybrid cloud/on-premise infrastructure, and resilient data layers
- Integrate GenAI and automated tooling into program management workflows
- Automate synthesis of technical discussions, action items, and Architectural Decision Records
- Generate executive dashboards, release notes, and milestone variance analytics
- Standardize AI-driven delivery practices, prompts, and reporting templates
- Act as strategic liaison between engineering teams and executive leadership
- Communicate delivery health, technical trade-offs, blockers, and architectural risks
- Author executive one-pagers, steering committee presentations, risk heatmaps, and leadership briefings
- Build partnerships with business units, technology vendors, operations, internal audit, and technology peers
- Identify, evaluate, track, and remediate technical program risks, architectural vulnerabilities, and control deficiencies
- Ensure compliance with SDLC governance, architecture review standards, data governance policies, and regulatory mandates
- Champion operational resilience and release integrity, including rollback strategies and incident management protocols
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technology Project Management, Engineering Delivery, or related technology leadership roles managing large-scale enterprise initiatives
- 2+ years of experience supporting payments, fintech, fraud prevention, risk management, or other highly regulated technology environments
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid delivery frameworks
- Strong technical fluency in microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures (Kafka/MQ), hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, and distributed database systems
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, tracking critical-path milestones, and supporting vendor integrations in matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technology initiatives from planning through production deployment
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or comparable project/program management certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Jira Align, MS Project, and ServiceNow
- Experience utilizing AI-enabled productivity tools such as Copilot, LLMs, or enterprise AI platforms
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, drive consensus, and influence technical and business partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related discipline
- Master's degree preferred
