About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and governance of Citi's enterprise information architecture framework
- Improve data availability, accessibility, quality, and reliability across business functions
- Define information architecture principles and standards for the Enterprise Analytics Platform
- Develop and maintain enterprise information management artefacts, including business architecture models, conceptual and logical data models, data flows, data standards, adoption strategies, and data remediation recommendations
- Architect high-level business data solutions that accelerate application design, improve data interoperability, and maximize shared services and assets
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into actionable architectural solutions
- Identify cross-functional data patterns and scalable designs
- Manage and develop a team of data architecture analysts, including performance, resource planning, and professional growth
- Evaluate data-related business decisions for risk and control implications
- Ensure architectural recommendations uphold compliance standards and protect Citi's data assets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ten or more years of experience in banking or financial services, with deep expertise in data architecture, enterprise information management, or a closely related discipline
- Specialist knowledge of the fraud domain, including familiarity with agent architectures and the application of AI and machine learning in fraud detection and prevention
- Ability to design and deliver enterprise-scale data architecture solutions, including conceptual and logical data models, data flows, and governance frameworks
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing delivery across multiple teams or organizational counterparts within complex, matrixed environments
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior executives and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and drive consensus-based decision-making across large, cross-functional organizations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Master's degree or MBA in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms and enterprise analytics environments operating at scale
- Familiarity with AI and agentic system design principles as applied to data architecture within financial services contexts
