About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
- Lead application systems analysis and programming activities
- Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements
- Resolve high-impact problems and projects through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
- Build comprehensive knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals
- Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
- Assess and manage risk, drive compliance, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently
- Continuously explore tools and approaches that enhance engineering workflows and delivery outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 13+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
- Extensive experience in systems analysis and software application programming
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects
- Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2.9, Oracle General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payables, and Project Accounting
- Strong experience with AOL, PL/SQL, PL/SQL JSON, Shell Scripting, and RICE components
- Strong experience with XML and XML/BI Publisher
- Strong experience with Oracle Workflows, AOL, Oracle Forms, and Reports
- Experience with OAF (Oracle Application Framework)
- Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Ability to use Gen AI-enabled development and productivity tools
- Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted and automated systems
- Professional judgment when leveraging AI outputs, ensuring accuracy, security, and maintainability
