About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead budgetary reviews and discussions for Services and Services Technology
  • Drive technology mandatory budget allocation and maintain the budget allocation model
  • Provide investment data and information to senior management
  • Enhance investment business cases with technology and product teams
  • Represent Services Technology in senior workshops and Investment Lifecycle Steering Committees
  • Establish governance structures for technology mandatory initiatives and manage TM Program Governance & Budget
  • Embed CEAM, architectural governance, and proactive control checks across the investment lifecycle
  • Maintain review cadence with lead architects against technology strategy, application health, and CI/CD readiness
  • Ensure correct categorization of Investment Requests by benefit type
  • Integrate risk and control frameworks into the TM operating model
  • Support Architecture & Shared Services PMO management
  • Implement standardized Jira workflows across Services Technology LOBs
  • Address VTM management delays through initiatives such as Starfleet
  • Explore and adopt generative AI solutions and serve as Services-wide AI/automation liaison
  • Deploy Jira automation for Tech mandatory EOVS and NON EOVS
  • Monitor EOVS and NON EOVS execution and progress
  • Collaborate with central, product, operations, application, risk, control, and stakeholder teams
  • Build consensus on unified standards across multiple LOBs
  • Facilitate TM process understanding and create Epics/Stories
  • Develop dashboards with data visualization teams for investment management and reporting
  • Create weekly finance reports and communicate variances and misallocated investment requests
  • Use data-driven insights for budget decisions and cost reduction
  • Integrate potential, targeted, and realized benefits into dashboards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proven experience managing technology budgets, financial reviews, and investment lifecycles within a large organization
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, Process Taxonomy, and architectural governance
  • Experience establishing and improving PMO functions
  • Experience implementing standardized Jira workflows across multiple LOBs
  • Experience with technology mandatory initiatives, risk management, and risk escalation processes
  • Ability to secure funding and manage budget adherence for complex, multi-year technology programs
  • Experience reducing manual reporting and driving headcount efficiencies through automation
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading and guiding teams, mentoring, and fostering team growth
  • Data-driven decision-making, financial variance analytics, and roadmap traceability experience
  • Ability to adapt strategy and overcome unexpected challenges
  • Familiarity with generative AI solutions and identifying automation use cases
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in Finance, BA, management or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with generative AI solutions
  • Familiarity with technical risk and cyber risk management
  • Knowledge of investment planning optimization, architectural review processes, and Process Taxonomy processes and functions
  • Experience in the financial services industry
