About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support planning, directing, and coordinating day-to-day activities of programs or portfolios
- Assess creation and signoff of program plans, charters, benefits management plans, stakeholder management plans, acceptance plans, and central program issue logs
- Oversee program plans to ensure they meet business needs
- Identify stakeholders and ensure their understanding of schedules and key milestones
- Work with the Program Sponsor on business case cost-benefit analysis
- Ensure appropriate staffing and monitor resource commitments
- Escalate program risks to the Program Director or Program Sponsor
- Create program risk management plans
- Work with procurement to create, administer, track, and close program contracts
- Recommend training and development needs for assigned personnel
- Evaluate subordinate performance and recommend pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions
- Direct the supported area, including delivery of end results, budget management, and resource planning
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
- Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
- Manage and report control issues transparently
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6-10 years of experience as Business Analyst or Tester
- Experience in handling application stability and application performance
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills
- Basic commercial awareness
- Ability to assess and manage program risks
- Experience with program planning, chartering, benefits management, stakeholder management, acceptance planning, and issue tracking
- Experience coordinating program resources, staffing, budgets, contracts, and procurement
- Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and control requirements
