Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions and identify and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements
Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how business areas such as architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals
Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
Assess risk in business decisions, drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, apply sound ethical judgment, and escalate, manage, and report control issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
Hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST-APIs, Multithreading and Backend using Java/J2EE technologies
Strong fundamentals of OOPS (Object Oriented Programming Standards) Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms
Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with non-functional requirements such as scalability, high availability, and consistency
Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST/SOAP protocols
Fundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms
Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
Good understanding of Standard and Enterprise Design Patterns and SOLID principles
Good understanding of Containers and Docker deployment
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha
Preferred experience in high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and tools
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
