Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide applications programming expertise and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Build knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals
Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
Advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
Assess risk in business decisions, drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, apply ethical judgment, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently

What you’ll need

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
Hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST APIs, multithreading, and backend using Java/J2EE technologies
Strong fundamentals of OOPS concepts, data structures, and algorithms
Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with non-functional requirements such as scalability, high availability, and consistency
Strong experience with API and web services development using REST/SOAP protocols
Fundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database (MSSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms
Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of standard and enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles
Understanding of containers and Docker deployment
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha
Preferred experience in high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery technologies and tools
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
