About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure data integrity and completeness
  • Prepare and record financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
  • Update the general ledger and prepare consolidated financial statements
  • Manage specialized accounting, including equity compensation, securitization, payroll and investment accounting
  • Manage complex, critical and large professional disciplinary areas
  • Lead, direct and manage a team of professionals
  • Deliver a full range of services to one or more businesses or geographic regions
  • Interact with peers within the company and externally, including regulators and professional organizations
  • Advise internal clients on business trends, issues, operating environment changes and business strategy
  • Manage a sub Infrastructure unit or specialist function
  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and other team members
  • Supervise activity, create accountability and manage control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Local and US GAAP
  • Familiarity with finance functions and systems
  • Management experience of a team of professionals
  • Familiarity with banking products and reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with legal vehicle governance and control
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant
  • Bachelor’s/University degree
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Ability to manage teams
  • Ability to assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
  • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and autonomy
