About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build robust, high-performance, large-scale applications
Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities
Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions and identify necessary system enhancements
Define and deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve high-impact problems and projects through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide application programming expertise and ensure designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Build knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish business goals
Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions
Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts
Allocate work as necessary
Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
Extensive experience in systems analysis and software application programming
Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, REST APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend technologies
Strong OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms
Experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements
Experience with REST/SOAP API and web services development
Database experience with MSSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL platforms
Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
Understanding and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of standard and enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles
Understanding of containers and Docker deployment
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, and Mocha
Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies and tools
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
