About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish or implement new or revised application systems and programs
Monitor and control all phases of development, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
Provide user and operational support for applications
Analyze complex application development problems and evaluate business, system, and industry processes
Recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation analysis
Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and install or assist customer exposure systems
Define operating standards and processes and ensure procedures are followed
Coach new or lower-level analysts
Design and develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring and application support activities
Troubleshoot environment, software, and application-level issues
Write and test Unix Shell and Oracle PL/SQL programs and perform unit testing
Partner with Development, Validation/QC, and Production teams
Support server builds, administration, development, and troubleshooting
Provide design inputs and conduct code reviews
Support global ICG teams with technology solutions
Manage support services and change management using ServiceNow
Coordinate with multiple application teams and gather and analyze technical requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of relevant experience
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Experience with Abinitio, Talend, Spark (Scala), Unix Shell Scripting, Python, PL/SQL, Kafka, Hadoop, OpenShift Container, LSC and LCE
Experience in configuration, administration, and certificate configuration for applications
Experience in cloud technologies, automation, monitoring, and application support activities
Experience participating in management of multiple concurrent initiatives
Ability to coordinate with multiple application teams and gather and analyze technical requirements
Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects
Proficiency using basic technical tools and systems
