About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, model development, and establish or implement new or revised application systems and programs
- Monitor and control all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
- Provide user and operational support for applications
- Analyze complex application-development problems and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- Recommend and develop security measures through post-implementation analysis
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups on issues
- Recommend advanced programming solutions
- Install and assist customer exposure systems
- Ensure procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
- Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy
- Act as a subject-matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members
- Assess and manage risk, compliance, controls, and reporting in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and Citi policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–12 years of relevant experience
- Java/Spring Boot
- AI tools such as CoPilot or Devin
- SQL/Database
- Microservices
- ECS
- Docker
- CI/CD
- Logging/Monitoring tools
- Good knowledge of design patterns
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience
