About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Citi’s Summer Technology Analyst Program beginning in early June
- Complete in-depth education on analyst role fundamentals and Citi culture
- Receive on-the-desk training, attend speaker series, and participate in networking opportunities
- Maintain and optimize critical live production systems for health, stability, and peak performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and complex technical problems
- Manage the full incident and problem management lifecycle
- Improve monitoring and alerting systems using tools such as ITRS Geneos and Grafana
- Design, develop, and implement applications and scripts to automate processes
- Monitor end-to-end application environments in real time
- Coordinate with developers, business teams, and other technology partners
- Gain exposure to Linux/Unix, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Python, application servers, web technologies, networking, cloud, and Kubernetes
- Work with technologies including Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, React, Angular, Apigee, TypeScript, HTML5, Generative AI tools, Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics
- Work on globally scoped projects with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to real-world projects involving digital banking, cybersecurity, and data-powered innovations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or another technology-related discipline
- GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred
- Proactive problem-solving and ability to leverage Generative AI for complex business problems
- Global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones
- Excellent communication, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass technical interviews with basic algorithmic programming exercises
- Collaborative and adaptable
- Prior experience working in agile teams is desirable
- Authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future
