About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, build, and deepen relationships with affluent and High Net Worth clients
- Gain incremental wallet share through financial planning, discovery, and profiling
- Anticipate complex client financial needs and offer solutions across products, services, and tools
- Provide holistic financial solutions with support from product specialists
- Conduct high-touch, face-to-face client meetings and maintain consistent communication
- Use referral opportunities to grow the portfolio
- Source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships
- Refer opportunities to Lending Consultants, Financial Advisors, Small Business Partners, Relationship Managers, and other segment partners
- Organize client events to enhance client relationships
- Acquire new clients by converting referral leads
- Manage client follow-up and comply with regulatory and compliance procedures
- Adhere to KYC/AML and other compliance requirements
- Partner with branch team members to ensure positive in-branch client experiences
- Assess risk in business decisions and safeguard Citi, its clients, and assets
- Coach and train new recruits
- Influence decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitation within the area of specialization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-8 years of experience
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select, or similar financial planning software preferred
- Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred
- Self-starter, problem solver, and goal-oriented team player able to work without direction
- Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65 OR Series 7 and 66 or equivalent
- Must meet all US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role
- Insurance Group 1 required; must meet all Insurance Group 1 requirements within 150 days of starting in the role
- Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and obtain a unique identifier before referring interested clients for mortgage needs
- Must maintain and renew mortgage loan originator registration annually and update registration information timely
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
