About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, build and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of affluent and High Net Worth clients
- Anticipate complex financial needs and offer solutions based on client profiling
- Provide holistic financial solutions addressing banking, credit and investment needs
- Provide high-touch, face-to-face client engagement and consistent communication
- Master referral opportunities to grow the portfolio
- Source, acquire and expand high-value customer relationships
- Refer opportunities to segment partners, including Lending Consultants, Financial Advisors, Small Business Partners, and Relationship Managers
- Organize client events to enhance client bonding
- Acquire new clients by converting referral leads
- Manage client follow-up and adhere to regulatory and compliance procedures
- Ensure KYC/AML and other compliance norms are followed
- Partner with branch team members to ensure positive in-branch client experiences
- Assess risk in business decisions and safeguard Citigroup, clients, and assets through compliance and ethical judgment
- Coach and train new recruits
- Assume informal or formal leadership roles within teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-8 years of experience
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with strong attention to details
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select, or similar financial planning software preferred
- Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred
- Must be a self-starter, problem solver and a goal-oriented team player able to work without direction
- Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65 OR Series 7 and 66 or equivalent
- Must meet all US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role
- Insurance Group 1 required; must meet all Insurance Group 1 requirements within 150 days of starting in the role
- Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and obtain a unique identifier before referring interested clients to Citibank for mortgage needs
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
