About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, build, and deepen relationships with affluent and High Net Worth clients to gain incremental wallet share
  • Use financial planning, discovery, and profiling skills to identify client needs
  • Anticipate complex financial needs and offer solutions through products, services, and tools
  • Provide holistic financial solutions with support from product specialists
  • Provide high-touch, face-to-face client engagement and consistent communication
  • Master referral opportunities to grow the portfolio
  • Source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships
  • Refer opportunities to segment partners, including Lending Consultants, Financial Advisors, Small Business Partners, and Relationship Managers
  • Organize client events to enhance client bonding
  • Acquire new clients by converting referral leads
  • Manage client follow-up and comply with regulatory and compliance procedures
  • Ensure KYC/AML and other compliance norms are followed
  • Partner with branch team roles to ensure positive in-branch client experiences
  • Assess risk in business decisions and safeguard the firm's reputation, clients, and assets
  • Drive compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies
  • Apply sound ethical judgment and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently
  • Coach and train new recruits
  • Assume informal or formal leadership roles within teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized with strong attention to details
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select, or similar financial planning software preferred
  • Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred
  • Self-starter, problem solver, and goal-oriented team player able to work without direction
  • Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65 OR Series 7 and 66 or equivalent
  • Must meet all US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role
  • Insurance Group 1 required; must meet all Insurance Group 1 requirements within 150 days of starting in the role
  • Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and obtain a unique identifier before referring interested clients to Citibank for mortgage needs
  • Must maintain and renew mortgage loan originator registration annually and update registration information timely
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
