About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including client retention, expansion and diversification of City Wide building solutions and/or products
  • Formulate and manage an effective service strategy and schedule tailored to each client
  • Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics
  • Manage Contractor relationships, including interviewing and hiring, negotiating pricing and contract terms, managing agreements, developing service specifications, verifying compliance, and removing or replacing Contractors as necessary
  • Ensure quality and client satisfaction through quality control inspections and follow-through with client commitments
  • Supervise and direct Night Managers to ensure client strategies are executed and services are performed correctly
  • Ensure adequate internal and external staffing to service clients
  • Promote, procure, and monitor client supplies
  • Communicate client issues with Contractors and the Director of Operations and address problems promptly
  • Use City Wide’s CRM for client inspections, extra charges, and Night Manager routing
  • Schedule non-routine client-facility activities using Outlook
  • Maintain Building Information Sheets, FSM Summary Sheets, Exhibit A’s, and complete, accurate, properly labeled MSDS sheets
  • Notify Sales Executives of potential accounts, especially new construction
  • Discuss quality control surveys with clients and communicate survey responses to operations staff and Contractors
  • Develop and implement plans to resolve client complaints or service deficiencies and monitor compliance
  • Approve Night Manager and Service Representative pay sheets
  • Assist Accounting with collecting overdue client invoices and Contractor payment invoices
  • Maintain route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planners
  • Participate in and attend monthly Contractor paydays

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three to five + years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management, or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly preferred
  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree highly desirable
  • Highly detail-oriented and excellent follow-through on commitments
  • Positive and out-going personality; great at building relationships
  • Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM databases
  • Must have reliable transportation
