About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with management of contract compliance for designated building maintenance services.
- Maintain relationships between City Wide and Independent Contractors.
- Review client contracts and verify that work expectations have been met.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with Independent Contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on problem-solving.
- Review scopes of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
- Communicate daily with the Facility Services Manager regarding issues requiring immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone message.
- Recommend Independent Contractor work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines, and discharge contractors who do not meet service-level agreements.
- Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, and VIP treatment requiring attention.
- Execute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Complaint Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment, and their proper use.
- Oversee multiple office buildings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
- 3 years of prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations.
- Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus!
- Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Full-time evening shift position.
