About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Expand City Wide Facility Solutions' presence throughout Northwest Ohio
- Identify, develop, and secure new commercial clients
- Cultivate relationships with business owners, property managers, facility managers, and key decision-makers
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities
- Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outreach activities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective clients
- Build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Generate leads through networking events, community involvement, and business organizations
- Conduct facility walkthroughs and needs assessments
- Present customized facility maintenance solutions
- Prepare proposals and pricing packages
- Negotiate agreements and close new business
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals and performance expectations
- Establish long-term partnerships with clients
- Maintain professional communication throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience
- Represent City Wide with professionalism and integrity in the marketplace
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of successful B2B sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business
- Demonstrated "hunter" mentality with a passion for sales and achievement
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional follow-up and customer service abilities
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office products
- Sales training certifications (Sandler, Dale Carnegie, Challenger, etc.) are a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Ability to drive throughout the sales territory
- Ability to walk facilities and conduct site assessments
- Occasional standing, bending, and lifting as required during facility walkthroughs
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary
